It only took at least 3 other holomem and 4 and a half years, but we finally made it. And that's still not even half of the time between the release of DMC4 and DMC5

This game was announced 10 years after DMC4 and came out a year after that. Imagine having to wait that long. Hahaha. Yeah. Thankfully, you don't have to. Have fun and get MORIVATED!

The Nero plot point had been lingering for 11 years since the series had been held hostage by DmC. So it was either DmC 2 if it did well or no DMC at all. The series since 2013 had been on hiatus.

Fun Fact: the series recap found in the main menu does a good job reminding players of what happened in each game, but then it gets to DMC2 and basically says, "Oh yeah, that happened... Moving on."

I love how in the recap, DMC2 is just a footnote, the rest get a paragraph or two

Just finished my own playthrough of 5 on DMD difficulty, so following your playthroughs is fun, you did extremely well at some parts I think are pretty hard first time. My favorite to play is Vergil
