This'll be my first exposure too, so I'm excited to go on this adventure and see if I should start my own
I have been waiting for this is for five long…long…long years…I’m even breaking my diet and getting out midnight pizza in celebration of wacky woohoo pizza man!
The fire DMC was originally supposed to be resident evil 4 but to game "cooler" they leaned soo much into action instead of survivor horror that the project turned into an entirely new series
To avoid any possible confusion in the future, be aware there is a failed reboot game called, and I kid you not, "DMC: Devil May Cry." It's fine gameplay wise, HORRIBLE story wise.
DMC2 is a game you play for completion purposes. if you like it (as I do) then good for you. if you don't, that's also OK. But not playing a game due to bad reviews doesn't sound right.
why does Callis voice sound like this characters voice XD. (also I have played DMC3 a lot. I know. no spoilers) This game is so good it retroactively makes 1 hard to play despite it also being good.
Bit of a fun fact: The OG PS2 America version of DMC3 had it's difficulty bumbed from the JP version. What was normal in JP was hard in the US version. This was changed in future versions.
An important fundamental of DMC compared to other action games is that your jump gives you invulnerability. That's why it also acts as your dodge roll when you press jump while tilting left or right
grown ahs man in his 30s here, missed the start of this because I just watched the first two episodes of Frieren and cried. thank you for streaming one of my favorite games of all time.
If the combat seems a bit familiar, FF16's combat was done by the battle director of DMC V. Clive's lunge attack? It was just Stinger. Titan's parry? Royal Guard. There's others too but they're in later DMC games.

also another cool fact, DMC maker Hideki Kamiya him self has wicked cool style him self. leather jacket with lots zippers, gloves and slick back hair like Vergil. bro got awesome style
