Enjoy Parappa! I was always more of a fan of its sequel- Um Jammer Lammy. Instead of Rap lyrics, it's a guitar-response jam with an OST I still love to this day. If you like this one you'll love Lamy!

There might be differences for the US & JP games, which might be the reason for censoring. In the sequel Um Jammer Lamy, some cutscenes were completely redone for the US (Lamy goes to Hell in the JP)

I grew up playing the Spyro games. In Spyro 1, Spyro says "You gotta believe!" after freeing one of the dragons. I now realize he's referencing this game lol. That line has always stuck with me lol

Calli wanted to let you know during your break my girlfriend and I started a Dark Souls 3 co-op run. She wanted to play a game with me and she's never played a Dark Souls game before so she asked if we could play Dark Souls 3 together. (1/2)
She then told me that she's never played a video game before this is her first. It's been really fun playing through DS3 with her and now she wants to play Elden Ring co-op after DS3, she's loving it. (2/2)
I can't recommend the followup game to this UmJammer Lammy enough. I think you'd love it. A lot of same cast in in the game. Also not related but Gitaroo Man is also a great rhythm game of this era.
